Short holiday to Malaysia ( kukup)- Potian

Today, i work up early in the morning to go to Malaysia with my father and his friend. Actually, i go is because i can get to drive in Malaysia. haha.. I loved driving a lot. It take us quite a long time to reach kukup as the person who bring us go take the long road or somehow lost their way i think, cause when i drive, i saw some similar place twice or thrice. But nevermid, i enjoy long distance driving. When i reach there, was like darm hot as it is near the sea. Expected. Firstly, we went to the restaurant to have our lunch. Their restaurant look very busy as we have to wait for quite long before we have our table. Mostly people who come here are in big group. When they serve the food, i was kinda disappointed as it is not as nice as i thought and their potion of rice is less. After eating, we go find the person who is renting his "Resort" to us. It is something like attap house.
His attap house is quite far and we have to walk further in. Once we reach his house, we pay the rent, which is RM90 for 2D1N cum 1 Breakfast, 2 Lunch of seafood and 1Dinner of BBQ seafood and a tour at their fish farm. The facility in the house is ka-ra-ok, mahjong and playing cards. I think is very worth for teenagers as teenagers mostly go for ka-ra-ok and for only less then $40 dollars, the meals is all seafood. WOW.
After we pay the rent, we quickly move into the room to turn on the air-con, cool ourself down. I went to take a sleep as i reach home 2 am in the morning as i help boss to tidy up his restaurant as his restaurant is under-going renovation. Very tired.
When about 1530, i wake up as i feel boring and i ask my father if we can go walk around and explore the place. One thing bad about this place is that there is no shopping center, if not the people who come here will definitely a lot. After a short while, we went back to take a rest and get ready for dinner. Our dinner ends very early as we eat little things. My father friend afraid that i will be bored, he bought fire-cracker to play. I was quite happy as i did not have the opportunity to play as Singapore ban us from playing. Thanks to Government. After playing, i went back to room to enjoy the air-con and luckily i bring the book on sudoku to do, if not i will be bored to death. Then my father friend teach me how to fish, he is very patient. I set myself a target like getting 5 fish before i sleep. But after catching the third fish, they went to sleep, i plan to carry on but i do not know how to unhook the fish, so no choice, i give up.
The next day, we have our breakfast, slack around, then leave the house for the fish farm. After which, we had our lunch at another restaurant then we leave for Singapore le.
Overall, i think that this trip is fruitful as i found out a place for teenager to hang out, but it is in malaysia.

Dilemma

Today is where i start work after my two days off for my driving test. I was so happy that i finally pass my driving test, but i do not want my chefs and boss to know that. So i did not said anything about it to them. After my sister's driving test has ended, i call her to ask her the result as i think that she for-sure fail de. Then on my horror, she pass. OMG.. How on earth did she do that? She said she gets 18 points. I was like wow.. so badly and you still can said that you pass happily. OMG. I ask her where she gets the points from. She said that she did not check blind-spot and fail to comfirm safety. I was like wad the hell.. Like that also can pass. The Traffic- police sleeping or what? During my break-time, i went to beauty-world center to take a walk, hoping that my cousin will be there as she is opening a shop there tomorrow, hoping to share this good news with her. Her shop is on the second floor. Once i reach the second floor, i saw my first uncle, and my cousin over there. I was very happy and i told them this good news. They are happy for me as well.. as now, learning how to drive in Singapore is very difficult, but once u got the Singapore car lisence, you can use it anywhere as it is universal. After that, i help out a bit here and there to set-up the shop etc, as i don't know anything about nails and her business is about nails.

An achievement in my life

Today is the day where i got my driving license.XD.. I'm very happy about it. I purposely book at the time where there's no car in the circuit, so that there's no learner to block my way. I hate that especially. I got a total of 18 points, all because that i did not use the correct braking technique. But, i pass, who care. HaHa. After everythings is over, i go to find my friend and talk for a while. When i reach home, i realised that i forget to buy the Probation plate. Luckily my sister is going to have her TP tomorrow, so can call her buy as well.

Weird Mother day

Haiz.. this year's mother day is very different from the previous..i have to work!!!
Today is quite busy for lunch and dinner desprite the economy downfall. Tonight after the last order, i scoop out a ice-cream and eat. Once i sit down and eat the first bite, i saw something strange. I saw thick smoke coming out from al-meen muslim restaurant. I thought people is burning something, so did not think till that deep. Then my friend heard that people were shouting :"fire, fire". I walk over to see. I saw their worker carrying a heavy pipe running to the kitchen which become bright red in colour. Then my friend, Jack said cannot use fire to extinguish them, then i remember what i study before, kitchen fire cannot use water to extinguish it and we shout to the uncle.. but it is too late. When they spray at the fire, the fire went even bigger and the exhaust pipe on the roof collaspe. The boss finally take out his phone and call the fire engine. A few seconds later, the fire engine come and out out the fire. A few minutes later, the police come and surround the place.

Happy day in Vis- A - Vis

Today is a day which i'm quite happy about. At night, my colleague from ML call me and ask me about dinning in my restaurant- VIS-a-Vis and how to go from Bukit Batok to there. I try my best to direct them here but they end up missing 2 or 3 bus-stop. when they alight, they could not find the place, so they call me and ask me. I told them that i think they miss the stop le. they decided to walk back a few stop and they reach Bukit Timah Plaza. They call me again. I told them still need to walk 10 min before they can reach my restaurant. They give up on walking and take a taxi. I thought they were kidding about coming to my place to eat. When they reach, they call me again. i walk out of the restaurant and i was so surprise that i saw them there. I walk out to them and chat awhile while waiting for them to take order. They order 2 Promo juice, John Dory & pork for main course and chocolate souffle for Dessert. After serving the main course, i went out to my boss and ask if she can bill 50% of their bill to me as they are my best buddies. I'm glad that she agree. After eating the main course, the dessert was being serve. I was very happy that they like the food that is recommend.

Attachment

Finally, exams are over and i can relax for one month before my attachment start. I got a call from a french restaurant Vis- a Vis and they accept me in their restaurant to complete my 1 year internship. I headed down to the restaurant to sign the contact and went back to school to report on which restaurant will i be attach to.
I found a part-time job, - intro by Hui Feng , in Bukit Batok. When i first report to work, i was afraid that i could not did the job well as i have totally no experience in it. Luckily, the boss is very good. She gave me plenty of time to cope. Although this is a weekend job, i told her that i can help her work whenever she need help as i'm having holiday. She said ok and allow me to work for her on weekdays too. During this 1 month of holiday, i learn a lot of things from her and the full-time staffs.

A Miserable day

Today was a miserable day for me. In the morning, we have the WSQ test. I was told that this test is mainly on MCQs.. so i did not really study for it.. just read through.. During the Kitchen Organisation lesson, Mr George Koh come in and distribute the test paper. To my surprise, only 15 mcq questions.. the marks that carry the highest is the Short Answer Question. **** how dare u bluff me.
during the test, i try to think what i have just read, but i just could not remember anything. Darm frustrated..

After the test, i headed down to the NUH for settle my attachment thingy. I'm supposed to meet the person in-charge over there. I took the train to Buona Vista. After alighting, i went to find the place to take the shuttle bus that will bring us to NUH.. After walking around the place, i could not find the bloody bus-stop, so i went back to the Control Station to ask them where is the bus. They said is at Dover. WTH.. i took the MRT train to Dover and went to take the bus to NUH. When i reach there, i could not find the building/ kitchen, i went to the information counter to ask for direction. Being kind enough, they tell me the direction. To my surprise again, i found out that the kitchen is under the Basement.. WTH.. I wish i don't want to work there as working in the kitchen is already hot enough... somemore the kitchen is underground.. What will the temperature be? like Sauna. i reach there a bit early, and the person is still having his lunch, so i wait for him outside for like 1 hrs.
After 1 hrs, i went back to the kitchen and look for the person in-charge. When i saw the person, the person look angrily at me and ask me who told you that you can be attach to here? i was totally stunt. I explain to the person that i was just following the list given by my school. The person told me to hand on and he went to check it out. I stand there patiently and wait for 20 minutes. When the person come back, he told me that they are not accepting any trainees. I reply thanks and walk off quietly and cursing in my heart that WTH the school give me the wrong information. Luckily i was smsing to chat with Heng li at that time and she manage to cool me down. Thanks Heng Li. ^^
I look at the timing in my phone, it was still too early to meet Minyi. I took the bus back to Dover and stand Outside his school to wait for him another 1 hrs. -.-.. too many time to waste.
While waiting, someone call me. I turn around and was surprise to see Amy. I did not know that she is in that school. We chat for a while and she have to rush back to do her project so we end our conversation in a short while. After meeting him, his friends together with me went to the Bukit Batok Driving Center to attend our first Basic Theory Lesson. After the lesson, we went back home
