Hiking @ Bukit Timah Hill

Today, i went for a hike organised by Mr Sim- my Scout leader which was for the Cub-Scout meeting at South-view Primary School.During the hike, my teammate and I conducted the activities for the primary school scouts (about 40 of them). The main activities conducted were knots tying and gadget making. We have to teach them how to tie some simple basic knots like reef knot, square lash and ship bent. The scouts have to learn how to tie these knots before proceeding to the next station which was gadget making. At the gadget making station, they were taught how to tie structures based on what they have learnt. From this event, I have learnt how to plan and conduct activities for a large group. I was able to exercise my command and control skills and it helps to improve my confident as well.
