Chingay Parade

On 23 of February, i went for the Chingay parade( rehearsal). We has to reach the Cat High School by 1PM. There were about 300 participants from Cub-Scouts, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers. Those 300 participants were divide in groups- by schools. Bukit Panjang Govt High fall under group "B". My School was enrolled to fire the fire poppers. We had our rehearsals for about 20 minutes, then the sir that take charge of us gave us a "short "break but the break turn out to be 1hours 30 minutes. After the break, we carry on with our rehearsal. After the rehearsal, the sir gave us another break, and sad that we will had our another rehearsal before moving on the the orchard where the Chingay parade is held. While we are waiting for our turn to be call, it started to rain and the rehearsal was cancel due to the rain. The whole lot of us cheer as the break was dam boring. We had our dinner while waiting for the bus to bring us to the Orchard. We thought that we can have a nice meal but the meal turn out to be mac. We had apple pie and a small burger for our dinner. After eating the dinner, the bus arrive and we board the bus. When i'm inside the bus, something caught my attention. the bus mirror where the emergency exits are. Some letters was being tear off and the whole thing read like this:

"EMERGENCY EXIT
BREAK ASS TO OPEN". My friends and i will laughing like hell when we saw that.

When we reach Orchard Rd, we walk to the place where the Chingay Parade will be held. We had our very last briefing and we went off the collect the poppers that we are going to pop it. We went off the take our marking and stand there until the parade start. I'm very glad on that day as i get to see Bryan Wong, Michelle, Gurmit Singh and and Quan Yi Feng. It was the first time that i could see them right in front of me. When the VIP came, we fire off the poppers and we went off to get our seat to watch the Chingay Parade. The whole thing ends at about 10.30 and i went straight home after that as i was tired.
