Little trip to little India

This is the first CTIS ( Course Tutor Interactive Session) that is conducted outside.. So special.. HaHa.. With compared to the trip to the Chinatown hertiage centre, this is much more boring. I paid $5 for the China town trip and we got to eat pizza for our lunch. And i paid $8 for this trip, i expect much more from them. They made a lot of mistakes that i feel that the tour guide should not made. When we board the bus, they told us that we will be having our lunch at the resturant. Firstly, they did not tell us early in hand that they will be bringing us to have breakfast so most of us have eaten breakfast before they came to school. That is the first mistake being make. They should tell the tourist what they plan before they did.. so as to respect the tourist. If their plan is having the breakfast, then the tourist can don't need to eat their breakfast before meeting them. Then they can save time to do other stuff. When they serve the food, i saw it was something like roti prata, but it cost about few dollar. and the food is not up to our liking. I paid $3 more and i expect something nice.. but they serve this type of thing. Second mistake that they make. They did not ask the tourist weather what they are allergic to and just serve like that. I feel that this mistake is very serious. Once they are bringing a group of tourist, they need to take care of them- being their diet and stuff, even the health. but they did not managed to.
After having the breakfast, they brought us to the shopping centre to shop. I brought the thing that i needed. After some shpooing, they brought to visit to temple. I'm a kinda of disappointed as we could only know the history without having a chance to see what does they temple look like. Third mistake is being made. The tourist could not see the temple, could only know the history. I don't think that as a tourist should waste their time on things that they could not see and only knowing what is it about. After visiting some, they bring us to some history place and explain something about them. Sometimes, they did not know things and just tell you that they are not sure. Fourth mistake that they made, they bring us to a place they do not know anything, then don't bring us there. I feel that when you bring someone there, you should know how to explain, if not you should not bring them there. After the whole thing, they have amazing race for us. They made us ran like mad dogs, all over the place. Fifth mistakes that they made, they could not care for the safety for the tourist. After the whole thing, they made us wait for their teacher. We have nothing to do over there, so we take some group photo. Overall, the whole trips will full of mistakes which i think that the tour guide should not made. I feel that it is a waste of time of this trip. I feel that the group that bring us to Chinatown is much more better.

Tour to china town

On 8/3/2008, i went for the trip to the chinatown hertiage centre organised by SHATEC students studying in Diploma in Tourism management. I reach school at about 8.45. just to catch the bus that they provided. The trip to chinatown was great. The tour guides did try their best to make the trip enjoyable. In the chinatown hertiage centre, i roughly know most of the thing cause i went there before. After that, they bring us to the disleyland to eat pizza... and the pizza looks darm cute... wo bu she de eat.. -.-. it have the looks of a mickey mouse head.
After they serve the pizza, they serve some creamy thingy... it does not look attractive so i did not take a picture of it.
after having our lunch there, we took the bus back to chatec and went home.
